ROUND COMBER These pins are round in section and have a taper which is either half or two thirds of the length of the pin. Comber pins are the finest diameter which PINCO manufactures.
Uses Comber pins, as the name suggests, are used in the fine combing of wool cotton and synthetics to a very high standard. These pins are generally soldered onto comb blades and these blades are then fitted into half lap which starts with coarse pinning at the front and ends with very fine pinning.
Sizes Most of the comber pins range from 33 guage to 20 guage ( 0.010" to 0.039") in diameter and 3/8" to 11/16" in length although special sizes can be manufactured if required.
